To dry your lovely homegrown fresh basil, place individual basil leaves on a clean oven-proof tray lined with parchment paper. Turn the oven on to its lowest temperature and add the tray. Check the leaves regularly, they are ready when they are brittle and crumble between your fingers. Store your crumbled basil leaves in an airtight container or jar.
